New Zealand is full of selfless, courageous and generous kiwis. So, in 2014 the Pride of New Zealand Awards were launched to celebrate these people who work hard to make their communities a better place to live.
On September 10, 2014 seven incredible individuals from around the country were celebrated at the inaugural national award ceremony held at the Auckland Museum.

The award categories have been adapted to suit New Zealand; there are six awards and the TSB Bank People’s Choice Award which is voted for by the public in August.

Read moreThe national award ceremony, held at the Auckland Museum on Wednesday, September 16 was a fantastic night – the efforts of 24 incredible finalists were celebrated, and the winners in six categories announced. The TSB Bank People’s Choice Award went to the incredibly deserving Ryan and Keri Topperwien from Whakatane, who started the Dream Chaser foundation in memory of their son Chace. They were gifted $10,000 by TSB Bank to go towards their cause.
